Visit by Parliament of Finland, Audit Committee

On 16 September 2025, Ms Johanna Ojala-Niemelä, Chair of Audit Committee of the Parliament of Finland led a delegation from the Parliamentary Audit Committee to visit AGO. She was accompanied by Finnish Ambassador Mr Juha Markkanen. The delegation met with AG Wai Choong, who was accompanied by Deputy AG Rina and Assistant AG Mabel.

The meeting began with a presentation by Acting Group Director Cherrie on AGO’s role and its work. This was followed by presentations by Deputy Director Wendy on AGO's audits of the healthcare sector and Deputy Director Peck Ee on an audit related to the education sector.

The meeting ended with an insightful discussion on various issues, including the types of audits performed by the two countries' SAIs.
