Visit by SAI United Arab Emirates

SAI UAE visited AGO

On 26 May 2025, His Excellency Humaid Abushibs, Chairman of the United Arab Emirates Accountability Authority (SAI UAE), visited AGO. He was accompanied by His Excellency Wael Mahmoud (Director General of Audit Sector), Ms Hanan Al Marzouqi (Director – Audit Sector), Mr Amer Al Menhali (Deputy Director – Asia, Arab and GCC Relations Department) and Ms Alia Al Shamsi (Chairman Secretary of Strategic Relations Affairs).

AG Wai Choong warmly welcomed the delegation. Acting Director Candy shared on AGO’s role and its work. This was followed by SAI UAE’s sharing on its work. After the presentations, the two SAIs had an engaging exchange on the adoption of technology in audit work.
