On 8 March 2007, AGO played host to a delegation from the State Audit Bureau of Qatar, at the request of the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) of Singapore.
Deputy Auditor-General Mr Teo Chee Khiang received the guests and shared with them the role of our office, the legal mandate under which we operate and the scope of our work.
The State Audit Bureau of Qatar scrutinizes the accounts of all ministries and their affiliated departments, along with the accounts of public corporations, national companies and other government bodies in Qatar. It comprises the following departments:
- Government Sector Audit
- Economic Sector Audit
- Tenders and Contracts Audit
- Legal Affairs
- Administrative and Financial Affairs
